OVERVIEW

SnapBooth is a browser-based digital photobooth that lets users take photos with their device camera and compose them into photo layouts directly in the web app. It is built as a full-stack freelance project for a client, with the camera flow, canvas-based image composition, and user interface developed in a single codebase. The project is still in progress, with its core features being refined before release.

THE CHALLENGE

Camera access and image capture have to behave consistently across different browsers and devices.
Composing photos in real time needs to stay smooth while running entirely in the browser.

THE SOLUTION

Used the Web Camera API to capture live photos directly in the browser.
Composed and rendered photo layouts on the client side with the Canvas API.
Built a responsive interface with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Handled the project solo as a full stack developer, from design to implementation.
